About

My name is Michael Gray, and I am a former third grade public school teacher who left the classroom in 2011 to be a work-at-home dad in the graphic design and video media industry. I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my wife, Heidi, and son, Harrison.

This blog is part of my 2012 resolution to be more intentional about my role as a father. I write on a variety of subjects, but each post ends with a particular life lesson that I want my son to learn. Just like in life, some of the lessons are silly and others are serious.

While I would never claim to have it all together as a dad (I mess up more often than I get things right it seems), I realize that I am the #1 male influence my child will have growing up. Because of that, I am trying my best to leave a positive legacy for my son.
